The photo has been retweeted thousands of times and is now a trending topic on social media. Republican Rick Scott won re-election for governor in Florida on Tuesday defeating former governor Charlie Crist. The Associated Press called the race at around 10:20 p.m. with only about 80,000 votes separating the two candidates. According to Bay News 9, Scott spent nearly $77 million compared to Christ who spent $40 million. With both candidates spending such large amounts of money this race has become the most expensive in Florida history.
